Peter Okoye, one half of the famous P-Square duo, has said he’ll now celebrate his birthday on November 30 instead of November 18, the date he used to share with his twin brother, Paul Okoye.

The singer, who goes by Mr P these days (since splitting from his brother), said this was a personal choice and asked fans not to send him birthday messages or presents on November 18 anymore.

This news comes while there’s been an ongoing family row between Peter and Paul Okoye, plus their older brother Jude Okoye, who used to manage P-Square when they were at their biggest.

After getting back together in 2021, things fell apart between the brothers again because of issues around management, money, and trust.

Peter has said publicly that he cut ties with his brothers in 2025, and the whole situation has ended up involving lawyers and lots of back and forth in public. While Peter didn’t say outright that his birthday change was about the family problems, plenty of fans think it’s another clear sign of how bad things have got between them.
