Ruger - R.U. (Raw & Unfiltered), Vol.1 EP | Album Download

Nigerian singer and songwriter Ruger returns with R.U. (Raw & Unfiltered), Vol. 1, a six-track 2026 project that comes after the string of releases from his Blownboy era.

Ruger handles four of the six songs on his own, while MC Morena, Musa Keys and Young Stunna feature on the other two. The guest list keeps things focused instead of loading up the project with too many collaborations.

The South African link really stands out, with Amapiano artists Musa Keys and Young Stunna both turning up on “Do Nothing”, while MC Morena links up with Ruger on “Private Chef“. Having them on board brings another regional flavour to a catalogue that’s been reaching further beyond Nigeria.

With just six tracks, R.U. (Raw & Unfiltered), Vol. 1 stays deliberately short, and the “Vol. 1” label suggests Ruger might follow it up with more instalments later. It also lets him work on a smaller scale than a typical full-length album.
